New Here?

We're so glad you're here!

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to church, or searching for a church home, you'll find a warm and welcoming community at St. Stephen Lutheran Church.

Our worship is centered on God's grace, the truth of Scripture, and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Come as you are—there's no need to dress a certain way or have everything figured out. We invite you to join us as we worship, pray, grow in faith, and serve together.

Of All the Things We Do at St. Stephen

Worship of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is the most important. Everything else in our community flows from worship. It is the heart of who we are. Historically, worship has always been the foundation of Christianity. Drawn together by God, we come together and follow the common pattern of the liturgy:

We gather as the people of God.
We hear the Word of God in scripture and in preaching that is connected to our daily lives.
We share a Meal together of Holy Communion, where bread and wine are shared for all in table fellowship.
We are sent out into the world to be active disciples in God’s marvelous creation.

Come, Worship at The Table!

5:15 pm Supper | 6:00 pm Worship | 6:30 pm Formation
September through April

You’re invited to The Table on Wednesdays at St. Stephen! All are welcome at The Table, where you’ll receive spiritual food as well as a full belly.

Each Wednesday beginning at 5:15 pm, we’ll share a meal in the Gathering Area. At 6:00 pm we’ll gather around the Lord’s Table to celebrate Holy Communion. This will be an intimate, come-as-you-are worship service, where leaders of all ages help proclaim the good news of God. After worship, you’re invited to various formation activities like Emerge (confirmation) or rehearsal for the St. Stephen Praise Band.

As we set The Table together, we need you! Contact Tracy Sabus if you’d like to be on a meal team (whether once a month or just occasionally). Contact Jana Taylor if you'd like to help lead worship, serve on the AV Team, or share musical gifts. Contact the office if you'd be interested in hosting a discussion group or other formation activity after worship.
